Code Blue Parades Past Pride 28-6
Code Blue took full advantage of Pride's lack of depth on the season opener taking them down 28-6. Newcomer Code Blue QB Casey Furtado was 13 of 24 passing for 208 yards and four TDs. Furtado connected with Tony "soup in a thong" Souvanaphong with seven receptions for 126 yards and one TD. For team Pride, it was all about WR Chris North Jr., who had seven catches for 127 yards and one touchdown.

Rampart Barricades Pride 36-25
Rampart kicked off the new season ready to play. QB Sheldon King was 16 of 24 for 229 yards and five touchdowns. Three of King's TDs went to WR Marlon Dorn, who led the team with five receptions for 119 yards. Pride's QB Pat Danyo came ready to play as well, going 17 of 28 passing for 240 yards and four touchdowns. However, it was, again, the Chris North Jr. show. North, Pride's #1 receiver, had 10 receptions for 157 yards and three touchdowns but wasn't enough to seal the win.

SD Stingrays Shut Out Rampart 42-0
The SD Stingrays showed just how fierce their squad can be, breaking past Rampart 42-0. QB Mike Stange was 16 of 24 for 213 yards and six touchdowns. Newcomer WR Andre "Dre" Peeples and WR Deymon "O'Shea" Owens both had two Mike Stange TD catches to help solidify the win.

SD Stingrays Swim Past Black Tide 40-19
Black Tide showed the league that they're gearing up for a possible Division A opportunity in the seasons to come by putting up a good fight against the powerhouse Stingrays season opener. Black Tide QB Huy "Wee" Nguyen was 13 of 26 for 212 yards and three TDs, hitting his primary receiver, Bruce Vu with six catches for 100 yards, one touchdown. Stingrays QB Mike Stange, however, put on a show himself going 13 of 23 for 281 yards and throwing six touchdowns. His main weapon was WR Deymon Owens with six receptions for 152 yards and three TDs.

Royal High Escapes Mercenaries 21-20
Royal High showed newcomer free agent team, Mercenaries that they have something to prove. The High guys put up a good fight and punched in a late two-pointer for the win. The Mercenaries, however, have a force to be reckoned with in WR Dell Barley. Barley, yoked, good hands and quick feet, is going to be showing this league a thing or two about what playing receiver is all about.

SD Hurricanes Blow Past Royal High 32-6
The SD Hurricanes, flashing their new orange uniform bling, are ready to play some football this season. QB Albert Bersley was 14 of 21 for 189 yards and four touchdowns, throwing two TDs to WR Freddy Arcaina.

Black Tide Washes Up Mercenaries, 26-13
Black Tide takes home a win, going 1-1 on the night with a win over the free agent team, Mercenaries. Black Tide QB Huy Nguyen was 13 of 22 passing for 156 yards and four TDs. For the Mecenaries, it was the Dell Barley show all over again, grabbing six receptions for 119 yards and two touchdowns.

Team Little Baby Steps Past Mercenaries 21-20
The newcomer Team Little squad barely edged past a tired Mercenaries team, who were playing their third game of a triple-header of the night. QB Neill Little, a backup quarterback for Aaron Rodgers at Cal Berkeley, was 15 of 27 for 243 yards and three touchdowns. His primary receiver was Johnny Saraka, who had five catches for 108 yards and one TD.
