Pride Parades Past Mercenaries 33-6 Team Pride was en fuego and capitalized on the Gavinless Mercenaries 33-6. Pride QB Pat Danyo was 17 of 27 for 235 yards and five touchdowns. Pride was fortunate to have a WR Steve Schneider appearance for the game, carrying in four receptions for 58 yards and two TDs. Pride WR Josh Denton also added three TDs along with six receptions for 44 yards. SD Hurricanes Blow Past Crusaders 32-14 The SD Hurricanes are starting off their season strong and in good shape for a season of success. QB Albert Bersley was 12 of 19 passing for 174 yards and five touchdowns. His main weapon was WR Brian Cruz with four receptions for 62 yards and two TDs. SD Stingrays Punish SD Hurricanes 60-6 It was a natural disaster the SD Hurricanes experienced matched up against the unstoppable Rays. Stingrays QB Mike Stange was 20 of 25 passing for 251 yards and threw seven touchdowns. Stange connected three of his TDs to WR big man Lavon Lynch along with seven receptions for 86 yards. On defense, both Mike Harvey and Kevin Martin of the Rays had two interceptions. Stingrays Cardiac Arrested Code Blue 26-12 This match up was like watching a Chihuahua bark at two Pit Bulls during both halves of football. Let the 2007 Fall season taunting begin. In what was expected to occur with non other than WRs Deymon "O'Shea" Owens and big man WR Lavon Lynch of the Stingrays and Code Blue's new WR Antwoin Harris having it out for each other since the opening play, it was still a great and competitive game of football throughout. Rays QB Mike Stange was 16 of 25 passing for 194 yards and four touchdowns. WR Mike Harvey caught two Stange TDs along with five receptions for 58 yards. For Code Blue, WR Rashad Scott made a couple big plays, catching both Casey Furtado TDs along with two receptions for 60 yards. Rampart Breaks Past Crusaders 49-43 It was an incredible back and forth display of QB and WR talent from both sides. Both QBs put up team record numbers for their squad. Rampart QB Sheldon King was 22 of 30 passing for 333 yards and seven touchdowns. Crusaders QB Neill Little was 17 of 28 passing for 400 yards with seven touchdowns thrown on the day as well. In the air, both Rampart WRs Marlon Dorn and Ryan Montalvan had 100 yard days in the air. Dorn had six receptions for 143 yards and two TDs while Montalvan had nine receptions for 103 yards and three TDs. In the air for the Crusaders were 100 yards WRs Johnny Saraka and Dave Purpura. Saraka had seven receptions for 159 yards and three TDs while Purpura had four receptions for 103 yards. Pride Parades Past Black Tide 19-13 Pride showed just that... Pride. QB Pat "gimme that halftime smoke" Danyo was 17 of 31 passing for 231 yards and threw all three Pride touchdowns to WR Steve Schneider, along with eight receptions for 126 yards. Tides QB Huy "Wee" Nguyen was 18 of 30 passing for 160 yards and threw two touchdowns. Code Blue Flat Lines Royal High 44-8 The up and rising Code Blue squad are putting up some Stingray-like scoring numbers on their opponents. QB Casey Furtado was 18 of 26 passing for 231 yards and five touchdowns, connecting three of his five TDs to fellow WR Phill "soup in a thong" Souvanaphong. Souvanaphong also had seven receptions for 92 yards. Black Tide Washes Out Royal High 20-8 Black Tide are showing signs of an "A" game with their flashy new uniforms and stronger talent. Black Tide QB Huy Nguyen was 17 of 29 passing for 196 yards and three TDs, predominantly airing out his yardage to WR Charles Valerio with eight receptions for 107 yards and one touchdown.
